Food was awesome . Ordered hamburgers , fries and a drink . Hamburger was great not dry like some places .Would order again !!!

Family restaurant. Charming ambience. Food is authentic Tex Mex. Fresh and delicious. Also reasonable! Highly recommend.

Very good family run restaurant with a variety of Mexican/American choices. Prices were very reasonable and the owners were super friendly. We had a combo plate and the cheese enchiladas were exceptionally tasty. Always nice to find a great local place.

Don't pass up this little non-assuming cafe. My husband and I were visiting from Austin and wanted to have a Mexican breakfast. We drove around and came upon this restaurant. We are so glad that we did. The chips and salsa were so delicious. The tacos were awesome! The couple who own this business are lovely people. They know their customers by name. We even liked the customers who were seated near us! We had a great time talking with them. This little place deserves to prosper. We plan to eat there every time that we go to San Angelo.

Karla's Mexican Grill is in a old Diary Queen building remodeled and updated which I love!!! We have been many times because the food is so good! We haven't found one thing that isn't delicious!! Danny and Pinkie treat you like family there also!! Great people and great food! I promise if you give Karla's Mexican grill a chance, you'll be coming back over and over again. You won't regret it one bit!!! Oh I almost forgot, I hope you have a hardy appetite also because if you're like me. I always leave with food for another meal!! Enjoy!!

Visiting from Abilene, we wanted Mexican cuisine. Daily specials included catfish which our waiter said was her favorite. Two of us ordered it (included tea with the meal), our three water drinkers ordered Mexican. All were quite good. The catfish was an extremely large fillet, excellently prepared. The two children are allergic to milk and had their Mexican without cheese. The cook came out and apologized for the slow service; he had fixed it first with cheese and had to do it again. We had interesting conversations with two waiters and the cook and saw our waiter eating catfish as we left. Very good experience and definitely a possible eating stop the next time we visit San Angelo.

We went for breakfast after the Farmers Market on Saturday. It wad moderately busy. It took a bit to get our food but the chips and salsa were great. Mom and pop run. The Food was like home cooking. The bean's were awesome. Unexpectedly good food and service.

This place was great. We tried to hit one of our usual places that we go to when we are in SA but the line was out the door so we kept on going & came across this place & I'm glad we decided to give it a try. My husband got the beef fajitas, he enjoyed them. I got the stuffed peppers, they were delicious. I've never even thought of doing stuffed peppers Mexican style but I'm glad I ordered them. Roasted bell peppers, stuffed with well seasoned taco meat, topped with a little enchilada sauce & cheese, they were so good I can't wait to come back for more. My food also came with a cheese enchilada which was real good, I'm picky when it comes to enchiladas but I'd order a full order of these. The service was great too, our drinks were kept filled & we never had to wander where our waitress was because she checked on us often. Don't let the look of the place from the outside stop you from enjoying what may very well be the best Mexican food in San Angelo.
